Clear Sign is a custom typeface that exemplified great research and empathy for people learning sign language. The inspiration for this effort was to represent and celebrate my alma mater, St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf. American Sign Language is a unique communication system, I developed this solution as an attempt to simplify and clarify the means to understand ASL in a visual manner. This was selected and put into the student art gallery exhibit at STLCC.
